Baby Buds (6 months – 2 years)
Every element of our Baby Buds room has been thoughtfully curated to support the developmental needs of each child who joins us. Our primary aim is to nurture strong attachments and provide a safe, secure, and comforting environment.
The room includes a cosy sofa area where children can relax and bond with their key person, a designated sleep space with individual sleep pods for our youngest babies to rest comfortably, and a variety of engaging activity zones. These include a loose parts station, role-play corner, sensory play area, mark-making zone, and a low-level table with chairs—perfect for shared meals and social interaction. The room is equipped with a variety of carefully selected wooden toys and natural materials that stimulate curiosity and open-ended play. These resources support fine motor development, creativity, and problem-solving, while also being safe, durable, and environmentally friendly.
Baby Bud Team
Our experienced and dedicated staff are at the heart of the Baby Buds room. They are kind, calm, and deeply attuned to the individual needs of each baby. With a gentle and patient approach, they build strong, trusting relationships through consistent routines, warm interactions, and sensitive caregiving. Every baby is treated with care and respect, helping them to feel safe, soothed, and emotionally secure throughout the day.
We maintain a high adult-to-child ratio of 1:3, allowing us to provide attentive, individualised care. Our key person approach ensures every baby builds a close bond with a familiar adult who understands their unique routine, personality, and preferences. Our littlest learners also benefit from regular access to outdoor play, supporting physical development and a connection to the natural world.
