At Mulberry Bush pre-school we are proud to encourage and support active learning, critical thinking and sparked imaginations.
We foster a curriculum that celebrates magical moments, encouraging children’s curiosity, awe, and wonder. Our play-based, child-led approach allows them to make choices, think independently, and direct their own learning with confidence.
Using natural, open-ended resources instead of modern toys, children are inspired to explore, experiment, and create. We believe less intervention from toys leads to more opportunities for communication and thinking. With a focus on recyclable materials, natural elements, and a nurturing team of passionate practitioners, we provide an engaging and caring environment where children can truly thrive.

Our Nursery and Pre-School were given the top Ofsted rating of ‘Oustanding’ after an inspection in February 2025.
Inspectors found that the nursery is "warm and cosy with natural resources throughout" and that the staff have "carefully planned the space to reflect the nursery's vision"
